Yesterday, I left CBT. I went back to see what  was said and became even more enraged and responded first with controlled rage and then exploding. I then went to my my webpage and removed all of the designs I submitted so as to not offend anyone else. After a few hours sleep and getting through half a shift at work, I looked at the page sans the submitted designs. It looked empty and devoid of purpose, so I have removed all reference to Battlecorps and its contest. I have also asked that all of my designs submitted to the contest be be removed from consideration for the final five of each remaining week. Worktroll has asked me to reconsider, but I am not sure what I will do and has given me forty-eight hours to contemplate my decision. As of now, I am leaning towards keeping them in. However, I might feel different tomorrow.

«25 MAY 05: Upon further reflection and thought, I have reversed my decision to reinstate the page and have removed all materials related to the Battlecorps Design Contest. If I am unable to publish the fruits of my creativity then there is no logical reason for me to post other designs that were a part of the process. They would be without substance lacking the final product and thus not worthy of being looked at. I will leave this page up for another two to four weeks before I remove it as well.»

One again it has been a hound's age since I used this blog. I've decided to leave the CBT forums. It's been coming for a while as my interest in the game has faded and the boards have drifted to no longer serving their original and the overwhelming feeling that I am being tolerated to be there. After a Mod, who shall remain nameless, pulled a huge chunk of posts for what I felt was an arbitrary and pointless reason, I no longer feel that the Mods are working in the best interest of the posters. Combine this with the fact that the boards are being overrun with wanton silliness and unnecessary spamming, I just feel its no longer the place for this trooper.

Hasta la vista, CBT

hey only 27 days since my last visit.

Just visited Neko's blog and linked myself to Stackpole's diatribes (there were two essay). My go, what a nutter he is. Then again that's the problem with idealists, they are so myopic that they will never see the forest for the trees. His previous essay on 'Ten things you won't see in the Second Bush Adminstration" is worse than the first one you get to read. About half of those things he lists would happen in any administration, whether there's a Republican or Democrat in the White House. I feel ashamed that I once defended this man during the FASA fallout. I don't know if he cares about it, but he's lost another loyal reader.

Man, it has been a long time since I have been here. Well there's nothing new, I'm still the same old boring me. I am talking a break from the CBT scene, though I still lurk at the forums, when they are up that is (too bad today is not one of those days). From what I can see the substantive parts of the forum is just a recycling of the same old stuff, the same old flame wars and the same old what-ifs, so I am not missing too much. The holidays sucked as always as I had to work all four days (X-mas Eve, X-mas, New year's Eve and New Year's Day). The only good thing that has happened recently is that the Denver Broncos made it into the playoffs by beating the team that is going to stomp them into the ground this coming weekend. and rarity of rarities, I will be able to watch the destruction as it is an early game and I will still be awake to watch it.(I work the graveyard shift).

I have had it with it the thrice be damned Internet, It it's not the supposed experts who do DNS propagation it's damend online businesses. Thanks to these morons my internet life is at a ruin. I have no CBT {DNS issues) or Battlecorps (Stupid PayByCash, I don't use or even have Credit Cards, not sending my renewal notification). These touchhole geeks should be gald I don't have a gun or any other weapon larger than my kukri, otherwise there would be hell to pay.
